Senator Birdsell has dedicated her life to public service. Born in a military family she joined the traditional service set by her father, a retired Army Lt. Colonel, by joining the United States Coast Guard.
Her interest in politics began in 2008 when she began as a volunteer for Senator John McCain’s Presidential Campaign. Since then, she has been active in the New Hampshire Republican Party and has worked diligently to get Republicans elected.
Regina served as a state representative and as a member of the Election Law Committee from 2010 to 2014. She resides in Hampstead with her husband, Mark, and their two poodles. They have two adult children and a beautiful granddaughter, Penelope. Senator Birdsell serves as Chairman of the Transportation Committee and Vice Chairman of the Election Law & Internal Affairs Committee.
